The Lenovo Slim 7i 16IAH7 is currently going for 31% off on B&H Photo. Initially retailing at US$1,299, the Slim 7i 16IAH7 on offer is a capable machine with an expansive 16-inch multi-touch panel, a speedy 12th gen Core i7-12700H, and a dedicated Intel Arc A370M GPU.

Lenovo launched the Slim 7i Pro in May last year with an all-Intel CPU + GPU combination. The notebook packs an Alder Lake Core i7-12700H, an Arc A370M discreet GPU, 16 GB of LPDDR5 memory, and up to 1 TB of PCIe 3.0 storage. B&H Photo now has the top-of-the-line configuration of the Lenovo Slim 7i for only US$899, a massive discount of US$400 (via slickdeals).

The Lenovo Slim 7i Pro on sale is rocking a 16-inch 16:10 touch display with a 2.5K (2560×1600) resolution, 500 nits of max brightness, and a super smooth 120 Hz refresh rate. Lenovo claims the display covers 100% of the sRGB gamut and has a 1200:1 contrast ratio. In addition to dual USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, the device also carries a single Thunderbolt 4 port, a full-sized SD card slot, a single HDMI 2 input, one 3.5 mm combo jack, and a DC-in. Other niceties include a spacious 75 Wh battery and an IR-capable webcam.

When it comes to performance, the device can power through productivity tasks, as the 14-core Core i7-12700H on offer is a beast. The CPU scored more than 15,900 and 1,770 points in our multi-core and single-core Cinebench R23 tests. While the Arc A370M GPU isn’t nearly as impressive, it is plenty fast for normal productivity workloads and can even handle light gaming. For instance, the Arc A370M managed to push out 37fps in Cyberpunk 2077 at 1080p utilizing the medium-quality graphics preset.

Put simply, the Lenovo Slim 7i is adequately powerful and is a potential bargain at US$899.
