Return to the Jazz Age With LUPIN ZERO Anime’s Creditless Opening and Ending

The currently airing prequel anime LUPIN ZERO, which follows the gentleman thief in school as he gets to know his pal Jigen, has looked to the first Lupin the Third anime series for inspiration for its opening theme, even going insofar to use the song “AFRO”LUPIN’68” and paying homage to the artistic styles of the original opening.

TMS Entertainment released the creditless versions of it and the ending theme on the anime studio’s YouTube channel today.

LUPIN ZERO is directed by Daisuke Sako at TMS Entertainment. The series is streamed on DMM.TV in Japan every Friday starting December 16 with the first two episodes of the six already launched. Sentai Filmworks is releasing the series in English on HIDIVE.
