Soccer Beşiktaş announced that Belgian soccer player Leandro Trossard has been diagnosed with swelling in his heel bone.

Beşiktaş issued a statement on its official website regarding the injury sustained by Trossard during last week’s match against Erzurumspor FK.

In a statement regarding Trossard’s health condition published on the black-and-white club’s official website, “Following impacts to the heel area sustained during our team’s subsequent matches in the previous period, our player Leandro Trossard experienced pain in the heel area after the Erzurumspor FK match. Evaluations conducted by our medical team, MRI and CT scans revealed traumatic bone edema in his heel bone (calcaneus). Our medical team has promptly begun treatment for Leandro Trossard, and the treatment process is ongoing,” the statement read.

Leandro Trossard will not be able to play in the Amedspor match due to his injury.
