Studio KAI Produces Hololive TV Anime ‘Odeholo’

Production company Kadokawa and entertainment company Cover Corporation announced on Monday that VTuber agency Hololive is producing a television anime titled Odeholo, revealing an announcement visual (pictured above) and announcement promo.

Studio KAI, the animation studio behind Yuusha-kei ni Shosu (Sentenced to Be a Hero) and Gaikotsu Kishi-sama, Tadaima Isekai e Odekakechuu (Skeleton Knight in Another World), is producing the anime project.

The project was revealed during the “Hololive Next 2026.9.7” livestream as a part of the franchise’s 10th anniversary celebration leading up to September 7, 2027. Studio KAI previously produced various official Hololive short anime projects and music videos.

A special livestream program on September 23 at 8.00 p.m. will announce more information for the anime. The stream will feature VTuber Nene Momosuzu, Polka Omaru, Lamy Yukihana, and Botan Shishiro, with Fubuki Shirakami and Mio Ookami serving as hosts.

Hololive originally launched in September 2017 with the debut of its VTuber, Tokino Sora. Hololive has grown into one of the largest global Virtual Youtuber agencies under Cover Corporation, expanding across multiple branches, including Hololive Indonesia and Hololive English. Hololive Production gathered more than 95.2 million YouTube subscribers in June 2026.

Hololive Production also self-produces the ongoing 3D short web anime Holo no Graffiti (Holo Graffiti). The original net anime premiered in May 2019 and features various talent roster members in episodes.
