Beyoncé & Jay-Z Share Behind-The-Scenes Footage Of His “Hair Journey”

On Sunday, June 21, the official YouTube page for Beyoncé’s haircare brand, Cécred, released a 7-minute video titled “The Blueprint.” The footage was narrated by Bey, and she explained that Jay wanted to “comb out his locs” as a homage to his dad and for his performance at the Roots Picnic in May. Additionally, she revealed the real reason Jay had opted for the look years back.

“I thought it was always beautiful that the real reason Jay grew out his hair was to show Blue that her hair was like his hair,” Bey explained.

Ultimately, the footage showed Bey and Blue assisting with taking care of Jay’s hair and eventually removing his locs.

Social media users weighed in on the behind-the-scenes footage of Jay-Z’s hair transformation in the video’s comment section.
