Nigeria-eligible defender Idris Fabiyi is among 15 promising youngsters who have signed their first-year scholarship contracts with Manchester United, Soccernet.ng reports.
Under Premier League regulations, all players under the age of 17 must begin the season on a scholarship contract before becoming eligible to sign professional terms upon turning 17.
In an official statement released on Wednesday, Manchester United confirmed that Fabiyi was among the 15 players selected for these deals.

The group hass several notable names, including Kai Rooney, son of club legend Wayne Rooney, and Jacey Carrick, son of Manchester United icon and coach Michael Carrick. This shows that Fabiyi is in top company.
The group is scheduled to participate in a Professional Development Phase training trip to Germany. The Manchester United Academy remains a premier breeding ground for talent, having recently produced international stars like Kobbie Mainoo and Marcus Rashford.
