Entertainment company Hakuhodo DY Music & Pictures opened an official website for a television anime adaptation of Damu Amato‘s Mamonotsukai no Musume (Heir to a Monstermancer) light novel on Friday, revealing the main cast, staff, and a teaser visual (pictured right).

Amato began penning the adventure fantasy novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website from November 2016 to April 2024. Drecom Media later acquired the series and began publishing the light novel in print under its DRE Novels imprint in December 2024, featuring illustrations by Shirabi (86). The second volume was released in July 2025, with the third volume scheduled for a July 10 release.
Yuu Satou will launch a manga adaptation on the Drecomi+ web service in September 2026.
J-Novel Club licensed the light novel for digital release in English in July 2025 and published the first volume in November 2025. The second volume was released on February 13.
The series won the Grand Prize after being submitted to the 2024 DRECOM Media Award.
Synopsis
