Soccer Nigeria vs Jamaica: Match venue and what to expect

The 2026 Unity Cup final between Nigeria and Jamaica will be played at The Valley. The last time the tournament was held at the stadium was in 2004 when the Super Eagles emerged champions after defeating both the Republic of Ireland and Jamaica to lift the trophy.

In that encounter against Jamaica, John Utaka and Bartholomew Ogbeche scored in a 2-0 victory for Nigeria.

The Super Eagles will be aiming to continue their impressive record in the competition and remain unbeaten in their last three Unity Cup meetings with the Reggae Boyz. However, Jamaica proved to be a much tougher opponent in their most recent encounter, with the match ending 2-2 before Nigeria eventually triumphed on penalties.

Nigeria head into the final full of confidence following their dominant display against Zimbabwe, but they will still need to be wary of Jamaica attackers Kaheim Dixon and Courtney Clarke, who both scored in the semi-final win over India.
