Gideklarar sa Malacañang isip special non-working days ang Mayo 6-8, 2026, sa Dakbayan sa Lapu-Lapu ug Lungsod sa Cordova sa Lalawigan sa Sugbo subay sa proclamation nga gilagdaan ni Executive Secretary Ralph Recto sa Mayo 5, 2026.

 Ang maong deklarasyon isip pagsuporta sa pagpangandam sa ika-48 nga (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) Asean Summit ug related meetings nga ipahigayon sa Sugbo. Kini pagseguro nga hapsay ug luwas ang mga mosalmot sa maong kalihukan nga langkuban sa nagkadaiyang head of states sa 11 ka mga nasod sa Asean.

 Subay niini, gimando sab ang pagseguro sa kahapsay sa sitwasyon sa trapiko sa maong higayon alang sa mas paspas ug han-ay nga pag biyahe sa mga delegates.

Gawas sa mga delegado, gikatakda usab ang pagbisita ni Presidente Ferdinand Marcos Jr. ug First Lady Liza Marcos sa maong mga higayon.

 Una na nga gipahibalo sa lokal nga kagamhanan nga andam kini sa tanang aspeto ilabi na panahon sa emerhensiya. Si Ma. Hellen De La Vega, Director General sa National Organizing Council (NOC) nagkanayon nga dunay siyam ka mga komitiba nga gitagan-an alang sa tanang panginahanglanon sa Asean Summit meetings.
