Aston Villa defender Ezri Konsa, alongside Belgian midfielder Amadou Onana, were seen trolling a Super Eagles legend after their UEFA Europa League triumph against SC Freiburg, Soccernet.ng reports.
Unai Emery led the Villans to their first-ever Europa League title. However, it would be a fifth triumph for the Spanish manager, who previously won it once with Villarreal and three times with Sevilla.
Now a specialist in Europe’s second most-prized competition, the Spaniard gave Aston Villa fans a reason to celebrate their first trophy in 20 years.

Soccer Aston Villa: Konsa and Onana troll Mikel Obi
John Obi Mikel, ex-Chelsea and Super Eagles midfielder, has been trending on the internet for his ‘mate’ slang on the Obi One podcast, where he analyses football weekly.
After going viral a few weeks ago, the Villa players decided to imitate the one-time UEFA Europa League winners. Watch the video here.
Mikel, meanwhile, has spoken out about Chelsea’s need for a manager with tactical astuteness and believes the appointment of Xabi Alonso is a step in the right direction for the five-time English Premier League winners.

“I think he’s a brilliant, young and talented manager. We saw what he did with Leverkusen, where they went unbeaten and to break that jinx of Bayern winning the league yearly is something,” the 39-year-old said on the Obi One Podcast.
“They played some fantastic football, and he’s also a student of Guardiola as well.
“He loves to play on the front foot, loves to attack and loves to press. That’s what we want, because we have the talent, we have the potential, and I hope he can bring that out of these players.
“He’ll come in straight away and command respect because he’s been there and done it.
“That’s what we need. That’s huge. The mentality changes. It’s a big step, I must say, kudos to the club hierarchy for this decision,” the one-time UEFA Champions League winner concluded.

The Spaniard is expected to take charge at Stamford Bridge from 1 July 2026.
