CEO of Y Scouts Executive Recruiting Attends CEO Coaching International Summit in Miami

Y Scout CEO and Co-founder Max Hansen attended the elite business growth summit, continuing his commitment to stay at the forefront of innovative executive recruitment practices.

Max Hansen, Co-Founder and CEO of Y Scouts, attended the CEO Coaching International Summit held April 22–24 at the Fountainebleau Miami Beach. The event brought together more than 400 high-growth CEOs for an immersive, two-day experience centered on scaling companies, leveraging AI, and building enduring leadership teams.

The summit operates as a high-performance ecosystem designed for founders and operators who are actively building and scaling businesses. Hansen, whose firm is known for revolutionizing executive recruitment, attended alongside peers from around the world as part of his ongoing commitment to continuous growth and leadership development.

“This isn’t a sit-back-and-listen type of event,” Hansen said. “It’s a room full of operators who are actively building, scaling, and solving real problems. That level of conversation changes how you think.”

The summit featured a lineup of high-impact speakers focused on the intersection of growth strategy and emerging technology, including:

  • Peter Diamandis, who shared insights on exponential innovation and the future of business
  • Celine Isma, who delivered forward-looking perspectives on AI and its role in reshaping how companies operate

Across sessions and peer discussions, these themes were consistent:

  • Growth is no longer just about strategy. It’s about execution speed.
  • AI can either accelerate a company’s growth or magnify efficiencies. The difference lies in the strength of a company’s leadership and clarity of its processes.
  • Leadership alignment is becoming a competitive advantage, not a “nice to have.”

For Hansen, these insights directly connect to the work Y Scouts does every day with founder-led and private equity-backed companies.

“You can’t scale chaos,” Hansen noted. “The companies that win in this next phase will be the ones with aligned leadership teams who know exactly what they’re building and how to execute it.”

The summit affirmed Hansen’s heavy focus on leadership alignment and gave up-and-coming leaders the opportunity to learn and exchange ideas for challenges such as:

  • Scaling from mid-market to enterprise
  • Integrating AI into operations
  • Hiring and developing executive leadership teams

After working for decades in the recruiting industry, Hansen came to realize that executive recruiting was “broken.” He saw the limitations of a hiring system that over-emphasized resumes; under-emphasized alignment of values, mission, and culture; and often cost companies millions of dollars in bad hires. In response, Hansen launched Y Scouts to offer a better path to C-suite hiring. The firm’s proprietary retained executive search processes include Role Visioning, which helps stakeholders get 100% clear on what they need in a role before they ever start the hiring process.

Y Scouts continues to integrate insights from elite CEO communities into its executive search model, helping clients:

  • Define leadership roles with precision
  • Align stakeholders before hiring
  • Identify leaders who can execute in high-growth environments, including leaders who may not be actively job hunting

Y Scouts’ commitment to continual learning shows up in its performance. The company boasts a 92% success rate for its executive placements. It has been named among the country’s top recruiting firms by both Forbes and Business Insider. Learn more at www.YScouts.com.
