Make it two holiday games (and both against NFL teams from Texas) for the Philadelphia Eagles during the 2026 season.
After playing the Dallas Cowboys at AT&T Stadium on Thanksgiving, the Birds will later host the Houston Texans on Christmas Eve.
Kickoff for this Week 16 Thursday Night Football matchup is set for 8:15 PM Eastern.

The Eagles and Texans last met during a 2022 Thursday Night Football game that took place at the same time as the Philadelphia Phillies and Houston Astros were playing in the World Series. The Eagles picked up a win but the Phils did not.
This game will mark the first time that the Eagles are going up against C.J. Stroud. It’s also the first time they’re taking on former Eagles linebacker DeMeco Ryans since he became the Texans’ head coach.
The Eagles are 6-0 all-time against the Texans dating back to the first time they played in 2002. We’ll see if they can make it 7-0 while Santa Claus is flying around the world.
