Maybe instead of wealthy politicians blustering on about “affordable housing” (they are very clear not to use the word ‘house’ but rather ‘homes’ or ‘housing’), in reality rental properties, they could focus on “affordable living” instead. Canadians need to ask themselves, what is Mark Carney’s family cutting back on or going without during this affordability crisis?

(In short, the Carney’s are not sacrificing anything. But policy decisions he and his government are making sure require Canadians to sacrifice a lot)

SO LONG ONTARIO

It didn’t take a sip of water to convince anyone that Doug Ford is a closet Liberal, but he’s an actual Liberal in everything but name. He wants Mark Carney to have a majority government so he can fulfill a mandate Canadians didn’t vote for. Ford is more interested in what he can get from the feds — read us. That means Ontario taxpayers pay twice whatever project they come up with, so a guy from New Brunswick pays the federal tax but we in Ontario pay the federal part as well as the provincial part. Despite my age, I’m seriously considering moving to Alberta. If it’s not a whole dollar, it’s still my dollar.

(Well Doug “joked” that a lot of people already think he’s a Liberal and his keenness for a Carney majority speaks to that)

NDP WOKE PARTY

Years ago, I used to watch a TV show called The Gong Show. I watched it because of its absurd and hilarious acts trying to pass as talent before the gong got smacked to end the absurdity. I was looking for the gong during the NDP convention while laughing my head off. Is it any wonder we are a laughing stock globally? The NDP needs a new name: The Painfully Woke Party (PWP). This way we can keep all the lunatics in one single collective. God help us.

(It really is an extraordinary collection of character the NDP has amassed relegating themselves into crazy town and irrelevant)
