Entertainment Talking Point: Have You Been Playing The New Don't Nod Title On Xbox Game Pass?

This past week, the makers of Life is Strange — Don’t Nod Entertainment — released their latest game in the sci-fi adventure Aphelion, and it’s gotten off to an okay start on Xbox Game Pass so far.

We haven’t got around to playing this one for ourselves just yet (it’s been pretty busy lately!), but we did cover some reviews from across the web in our recent Aphelion roundup. It’s safe to say that the game has received a mixed reception so far, but it still has its fans!

From what we’ve read of the reviews, Aphelion sounds as though it has a solid enough base, but it’s just missing a little bit of that ‘special sauce’ that some of Don’t Nod’s past material had. The likes of Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden and Vampyr have gone on to become cult classics somewhat, and the jury’s out as to whether Aphelion will fall into a similar bracket.

Anyway, with this being a day one XGP launch, we’re curious to know if you’ve been playing it yet – and indeed what you think if you’ve given it a go! We’ll include a rating poll down below so you can give us a quick snapshot of your feelings, and feel free to talk more about your thoughts on Aphelion in the comments underneath.
