YouTuber Says He’s Not Making The Bloodborne Anime Movie To Make Money

Entertainment

RAMageddon doesn’t seem to be stopping more companies from releasing very cool and wildly expensive PC gaming handhelds. The creator of sci-fi mecha anime classic Macross talks about the nice coincidence of the moon-focused Pragmata  launching alongside Artemis 2. And JackSepticEye is still trying to win fans over to his role in the Bloodborne movie production.

It’s Morning Checkpoint for April 21, 2026, where unlike Forbes we have not yet stooped to letting our readers bet on the legislative consequences of mass shootings. Gambling continues to insinuate itself into every aspect of American culture. One result is apparently slot machines that can follow you around. At least players in Tomodachi Life are still living the dream.

Entertainment JackSepticEye defends his role in the Bloodborne movie

“I’m approaching it as a fan of it, not as like I want to make a thing to make money,” the YouTuber, who is in the producer’s seat for the unexpected anime adaptation, told IGN. “That’s not my end goal at all. And I know the fans out there are very passionate about Bloodborne…It’s one of those games that even if it’s not your favorite game, if somebody else said it, you’re like, ‘Yeah, that makes sense.’”

As for what fans can expect, JackSepticEye, who’s been learning a lot these past eight years, said he’s trying to keep it as close to the original game as possible. “The atmosphere of those games is just second to none,” he added.

Entertainment Macross creator talks about his work on Pragmata

“I participated mainly in world-building and setting supervision to infuse it with that Japanese animation-style SF vibe,” Shōji Kawamori wrote on X (via VGC). “Coincidentally, the Artemis program just succeeded in crewed lunar orbit for the first time in 53 years, and for someone like me from the generation that watched Apollo 11’s moon landing in real time, having the moon as the stage was incredibly appealing.”

Entertainment Japanese entertainment company Toei gets into games

The maker of series ranging from Dragon Ball to Power Rangers, Toei is launching Toei Games to begin releasing stuff on PC later in 2026. The games won’t be based on existing IP and will instead be original creations from talent in Japan and abroad. There’s even a cool pixel art version of the production company’s signature “waves crashing” opening stinger to celebrate the announcement.

Entertainment Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles director hypes up the Shredder

The sequel to 2023’s Mutant Mayhem will feature both the leader of the Foot Clan and Krang. “I’ll just say that I am really excited by this take on the character,” Jeff Rowe told Polygon. “It’s going to be a spectacle far exceeding Mutant Mayhem. I’m so excited to share it with the world.”

Entertainment More expensive PC gaming handhelds are coming

That’s according to Videocardz, which reports that Intel’s Panther Lake chips will debut at Computex in June, potentially ushering in a new wave of portable powerhouse competitors. Even if they end up being good devices, the real question is whether anyone will be able to afford them as other handhelds skyrocket in price.

Entertainment Crimson Desert actor explains why Kliff is so stoic

“Everything was done intentionally for the most part from my interpretation of Kliff and his character,” motion capture performer Trevor McEwan told fans on Reddit (via PC Gamer). “He has a lot going on under the surface but is very guarded of that. The family he made with the Graymanes and their mission is the most important thing to him. So he attached himself a lot to that.”
