The fast-paced VR rhythm boxer Beat the Beats is gearing up for a wider launch, with developer Parallel Circles confirming its arrival on multiple platforms during the recent VR Games Showcase. The game is set to release on April 2 for Meta Quest, SteamVR, and Pico 4. At the same time, players on PlayStation VR2 can already jump into a newly released free update that adds 15 tracks along with two fresh gameplay modes.

Blending rhythm mechanics with boxing action, Beat the Beats delivers an energetic arcade experience built around music and movement. Players throw realistic punches such as jabs, crosses, rolls, and uppercuts to match the beat, progressing through more than 90 levels set across 45 electronic tracks. The gameplay leans heavily on timing and precision, rewarding those who stay in rhythm while pushing their physical limits.

Beyond its core levels, the game offers a steady stream of challenges. Daily objectives, unlockable music genres, and competitive leaderboards add variety, while the tougher B-Side versions of tracks raise the difficulty for those looking to test their endurance. The newly introduced Hit Impact and Hit Speed modes further expand the experience, focusing on strength and agility.

At launch, the Quest and Pico versions will be available for $12.99 and include 30 tracks, with optional DLC packs available separately or as a bundle. Meanwhile, the SteamVR and PlayStation VR2 editions will include all additional content in a $19.99 package.
