The Baki-dou Blue Stage at AnimeJapan 2026 announced a second part on Sunday, revealing a teaser visual (pictured) and teaser promotional video. The second part will be released worldwide exclusively on Netflix.
TMS Entertainment adapted the Hanma Baki prequel manga into two anime seasons on Netflix—the first season debuted with 12 episodes in September 2021 and the second season streamed in 27 episodes from July to August in 2023.
A crossover anime movie between the Hanma Baki and Kengan Ashura anime premiered worldwide on Netflix in June 2024. The first part of Baki-dou premiered on Netflix on February 26.
Keisuke Itagaki began serializing Baki-dou, the fourth main entry in the martial arts manga series, in Shounen Champion in March 2014 and ended it in April 2018.
A sequel manga, also titled Baki-dou (Baki-dou 2), ran in the same magazine from October 2018 to June 2023, followed by Baki Rahen, which began in August 2023. The sixth volume was published on February 6.
