New Zealand offered a timely reminder of their quality ahead of the World Cup by hammering 10-man Chile 4-1 at Eden Park.
The All Whites are due to take on Iran, Egypt and Belgium in their World Cup group.
And they fired off a warning shot to those teams with a convincing victory in Auckland on Monday, which saw them clinch the FIFA Series title.
With New Zealand’s Tyler Bindon having seen an early goal disallowed, Chile were reduced to 10 men when Dario Osorio received two yellow cards in the space of four minutes.
Kosta Barbarouses put New Zealand ahead in the 31st minute, with Elijah Just doubling New Zealand’s lead soon after.
Barbarouses helped tee up Jesse Randall to make it 3-0 on the hour, before substitute Ben Waine got in on the act.
Gonzalo Tapia got a consolation goal for Chile, who finished bottom of the South American qualifying standings for this summer’s showpiece tournament.
