The Guinness Partnership has awarded a £1bn planned investment and major works programme to five firms across England.
The housing association signed regional deals with United Living Infrastructure Services, Fortem Solutions, Morgan Sindall Property Services, Axis Europe and Novus Property Solutions for work covering about 70,000 homes.
The contracts were concluded on 18 March and can run for up to 15 years.
Axis Europe won the South East, coast and Greater London lot. United Living Infrastructure Services secured the North West and Greater Manchester region, while Novus Property Solutions took the South West.
Fortem Solutions was appointed for Yorkshire, Humberside and the East Midlands. Morgan Sindall Property Services won the Home Counties lot.
Guinness said the work would include kitchen and bathroom replacements, roofing repairs and renewals, electrical works, decorations, structural repairs, window works, decarbonisation and retrofit schemes, disrepair jobs, major voids, and building and fire safety work.
The procurement was run as a restricted procedure, with bids assessed on an 80:20 quality-price split.
Guinness also reserved the right to extend regional contracts to cover other areas if a contractor failed elsewhere, and to add homes that join its portfolio during the contract term.
The programme covers a mix of general needs, supported housing and shared ownership homes.
