Will they read this article and make these recipes before the Super Bowl on Sunday? You never know!

The way that athletes fuel up before games is always a point of curiosity. For example, we already know what both Alex Ovechkin and Tyrese Haliburton eat before games. But what about the meals that the players can actually cook for themselves?

That was a question that the Seattle Seahawks social media team asked their players for a fun Instagram post. Hearing their answers is really amusing, with answers ranging from “popcorn” to a three-course meal. One player even admits that he just throws everything in the air fryer, which is relatable.

I went through all of their answers and dreamed up a Taste of Home recipe for each of them to try out. Whether or not they want to take my suggestions before squaring off against the New England Patriots in the Super Bowl this Sunday is up to them.

Recipes Which Taste of Home recipe should each Seahawk try?

Quandre Diggs: He said that he can make spaghetti, so next time I think he should kick it up a notch and try our baked spaghetti.

Sam Darnold: He must be too busy with his quarterback duties to spend much time in the kitchen, because his answer was popcorn. Maybe next time he can take it in a sweet direction with these popcorn cookies.

Charles Cross: Luckily for Cross, homemade hamburger helper is one of the easiest thing to whip up in the kitchen as long as you have all the ingredients.

Abraham Lucas: It’s fun to know that both an NFL player and I love stocking Ben’s Instant Rice in the pantry. He can use it sometime to make some instant fried rice.

Devon Witherspoon and Drew Lock: Both of these gentlemen said that eggs, waffles, bacon and grits are their thing. Luckily, we have a great roundup of breakfast for dinner options they can try.

Julian Love: While there’s nothing wrong with a classic PB&J, I’m sure that he would also like to try something a little fancier, like this peanut butter and jelly French toast.

Velus Jones Jr.: Finally, a man who knows what’s up! He said that he loves making filet mignon with asparagus and garlic mashed potatoes. And I know that he will love our filet mignon recipe!

Rashid Shaheed: Meat loaf is a classic comfort that never disappoints. I’m sure he’s always busy running to practice, so he should try our 15-minute easy meat loaf recipe.

Jacardia Wright: There’s nothing more classic than a combo like chicken and rice. Taking it up a notch with this chicken and wild rice casserole should be a touchdown.

Courtney Jackson: Another answer that is a complete meal! He said he loves smothered pork chops, rice and gravy, green beans and mac and cheese. He’ll love our crockpot smothered pork chops.

Montorie Foster Jr.: Alas, one of the quintessential American meals: steak, potatoes and broccoli. Cooking a perfect steak is an art form, and we’re just here for moral support.
