E say na so dem fit make everywhere safe during the festive period. Dem don gather for December 29 to brainstorm on how everybody go enjoy the New Year without wahala. No bangers and no fireworks, my people!
According to di police, di restriction no be to spoil our fun, but to avoid unnecessary panic wey fit happen when everywhere dey scatter with sound. Dem don already start to put ‘adequate security arrangements’ plus patrolling everywhere, especially for public places wey people dey gather for the celebration. Dem dey ready to give us show wey no go get wahala!
Dem talk say dem go dey do round-the-clock patrols, so even if you waka enter street at 2am, no need to fear, you fit see police dey for your area.
