“She told me” – Man reveals wife’s behavior after moving to UK

‎A Nigerian man has recently shared details about his wife’s extraordinary behaviour and unwavering support after she brought him to the United Kingdom (UK), a story that has gone viral on social media for its remarkable display of loyalty, respect, and partnership in marriage.

‎The man, who goes by the handle @ndukaomoeifeo on X (formerly Twitter), revealed that he has been married to his wife for over 20 years, highlighting that their long-lasting relationship has been built on mutual respect, care, and dedication. His post has resonated widely, sparking discussions about marital devotion and the dynamics of long-term relationships.

Details Of The Tweet

‎In his viral tweet, the man elaborated on his wife’s consistent and exemplary behaviour over the course of their marriage. He explained that since the day they got married, twenty years ago, his wife has never raised her voice at him nor spoken any negative words toward him. Her actions, he emphasized, go beyond ordinary expectations, reflecting a deep level of care and commitment.

‎“Since the day we go married, twenty years ago, she has never used any negative words on me. She has never raised her voice on me. She has washed my clothes for twenty years. Bought all my clothes except my suits. When I was working in the bank, I have never given cold food since we got married. I had to force my way to the kitchen to cook,” he stated, highlighting the selflessness and devotion that have characterized their union.

‎The man also shared that when his wife brought him to the United Kingdom, she continued to demonstrate her exceptional commitment. She single-handedly paid their bills, ensured all necessities were provided for, and showed him even greater respect, which he described as having “tripled” since their relocation. This level of support, he noted, made him deeply appreciative and aware of the sacrifices she has made for the family.

‎In addition to her financial and domestic support, the wife’s respect for him has extended to their spiritual life and parenting. He recounted, “I told her I don’t want to go Nigerian churches in the UK again, she said ‘My husband anywhere you go, I follow.’ The same respect, she teaches the children every day. When I quarrel her, she will use everything to make peace.” These words illustrate not only her devotion but also her commitment to maintaining harmony and teaching values within the family.

‎The story has attracted attention on social media, with many praising the wife’s loyalty and highlighting the man’s appreciation of her sacrifices as a rare example of a strong, supportive marriage in contemporary times. His candid reflections have prompted conversations about gratitude, respect, and the role of partnership in sustaining long-term relationships.
