Ajay Devgn and Danish Devgn have launched their first original property from Lens Vault Studios, marking the entertainment company’s entry into AI-driven content creation with “Bal Tanhaji,” an expansion of the “Unsung Warriors” franchise.

The generative AI-powered narrative builds on the foundation of the theatrical hit “Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior,” extending the property into new formats designed for multi-platform consumption. The project represents Lens Vault Studios‘ strategy to develop story universes that span different technologies and distribution channels beyond traditional theatrical releases.

The visual development and world-building for “Bal Tanhaji” is handled by Prismix Studios, the company’s in-house generative AI and creative technology division.

“Lens Vault Studios was created to move beyond conventional boundaries of storytelling,” said Ajay Devgn, chair of Lens Vault Studios. “Our focus is on discovering formats and mediums that are still largely untapped, while applying the discipline and scale of mainstream cinema. ‘Bal Tanhaji’ represents the beginning of this journey into future-ready content creation.”

Danish Devgn, founder and CEO of Lens Vault Studios, emphasized the technological approach to franchise expansion. “With ‘Bal Tanhaji,’ we are redefining how legacy narratives can evolve through technology,” he said. “Generative AI allows us to expand story universes in ways that were previously impossible, making them more immersive, scalable, and relevant for new-age audiences. This is the foundation on which Lens Vault Studios is being built.”

The project marks Lens Vault Studios’ initial move into what the company positions as next-generation entertainment production, combining established intellectual property with emerging AI technology platforms.
