YouTube star SteveWillDoIt placed a whopping $300,000 bet when he saw that Petr Yan was an underdog at UFC 323 – without knowing why he was poorly favored.
After Yan’s performance against Merab Dvalishvili earlier this month, it’s hard to imagine that he was a whopping underdog as much as +300 with some books. However, he had been comfortably defeated over five rounds last time out, and nobody expected him to maintain the breakneck pace he did.

As a long-time member of the Nelk Boys and collaborator on projects like Happy Dad, Stephen ‘SteveWillDoIt’ Deleonardis always gets top treatment at UFC events. So when he jetted into Las Vegas to watch UFC 323, Dana White made sure he had a front row seat for the fights.
The YouTuber loves to gamble, and when he saw a renowned former champion like Petr Yan as a massive underdog in the main event, he instantly bet $300,000 on the Russian. It wasn’t until his bet was made that he realized who he was fighting.
“I blindly bet $300,000 on Petr Yan,” he told his friends as they pulled up to the T-Mobile Arena in his first YouTube video back on the platform after a lengthy ban. Asked who he bet against, he replied “Merab… Dude, I’m so losing…
“It feels like a guaranteed loss and it’s one of those things where it feels like if I pull it it’ll win, but if I don’t I’ll lose.Merab does not lose… I feel terrible.”
He proceeded to share his reaction to the fight in the video, and ultimately one of the all-time great bantamweight performances did see him win $1.2million. He celebrated with Russian fans and declared “I just won $1million,” before leaving the arena with streamer Corinna Kopf.
