Life is bigger than boxing, Jake Paul prays for Anthony Joshua

American YouTuber-turned-boxer, Jake Paul, has expressed sympathy and concern following a road accident involving British heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua in Ogun State, Nigeria.

In a post shared on X (formerly Twitter) on Monday, Paul wrote, “Life is much more important than boxing.

“I am praying for the lost lives, AJ, and anyone impacted by today’s unfortunate accident.”

Paul’s post, which quickly went viral, recorded over 227,000 views within hours, drawing reactions from fans, athletes, and commentators across the boxing world.

His message comes after their recent fight on December 20, where Joshua broke Paul’s jaw in two places.

Joshua reportedly produced a dominant display, stopping Paul with a sixth-round knockout in their heavyweight bout in Miami.

PLATIUMPOST reports that Joshua survived a fatal accident on Monday, which claimed two lives.

A black Lexus SUV conveying Joshua and the other occupants was reportedly involved in a collision with a red Sinotruck.

Although no official medical statement has been released at the time of filing this report, the incident sparked widespread concern online, with many Nigerians and boxing fans offering prayers and well-wishes for Joshua and others affected.
