Soludo’s Agunechemba Commander inaugurates Nweze Efunamba Social club, Estate, Mass transit sector

It was jubilation galore in Onitsha and environs in Anambra State, on Sunday, when the Managing Director, MD, of Special Anti-Touting Squad (SASA) and Commander of Agunechemba security outfit, High Chief Dr. Monday Nwokoye, (Ikemba 1, Na Okpoto), inaugurated tripartite projects at Knight of St. Christopher Abby hall, All Saints Cathedral Onitsha.

Inaugurating the projects which included the Nweze Efunamba Social club, its mass transit company and Real Estate management limited, Nwokoye expressed satisfaction that the projects inaugurated would curtail the sufferings of the masses, especially in the areas of housing deficit and exorbitant transport fares.

He commended the club for its numerous achievements in just three months of its existence and urged the people to patronise the club in all its businesses for their progress adding that the club as a registered organization will always protect its image.

While unveiling the mass transit bus, and real estate, he urged the members led by their President, Hon. Emeka Ojukwu not to relent in their efforts towards forging ahead for the betterment of the state.

He paid glowing tribute to Governor Soludo, adding that he has restored the lost glory of the state, thereby paving the way for investors to come and invest in the state.

Earlier in his speech, the President of the club, Ojukwu traced the history of the club to when it started in Nsugbe in March 2025 when he was appointed the chairman and it progressed to September same 2025 when it got registered with Corporate Affairs Commission, CAC, in Abuja with the real Estate and mass transit sector.

According to him it was the relentless efforts of the members, individuals, patrons and stakeholders that brought the club to a successful registration and popularity adding that it has achieved in three months what other clubs could not achieve in a decade.

He lauded Chief Nwokoye, Sir Vic Agubisi (Grand patron), who is the PCRC chairman for zone 13 Ukpo, for their contributions and advice that today made the achievements worth celebrating.

Speaking, the financial secretary, Nnamdi Obumse, expressed satisfaction that the tripartite projects have been registered to curtail the problems of the people.

“We are the first now to commence transportation from 3-3 to Awka, no more people coming to Expressway from 3-3 to board a vehicle to Awka.

Also there will be no disturbance on the road by security operatives and others because we have CAC certificate of registration.

“If you come to our real estate within the shortest possible time you own a land and house.
You become a landlord and no more a tenant,” he stated.

Among those who graced the occasion included, Sir Agubisi who was ably represented by his son, top government functionaries and a community leader, Chief Ejike Odife and wife.

Highlight on the occasion was presentation of certificates to members by Nwokoye.
