The College Football Playoff began with 12 teams, and now we are down to just four. After a thrilling round of quarterfinal games, we’re inching ever closer toward crowning a national champion for the 2025 season.

It all began on New Year’s Eve as Miami stunned reigning champion Ohio State in the Cotton Bowl. Then, on New Year’s Day, Oregon put out one of the best defensive performances of the season as it blanked Texas Tech in the Orange Bowl. Next, we found out why Indiana was the unquestioned No. 1 team entering this tournament as Curt Cignetti’s Hoosiers demolished Alabama. Finally, in one of the best games of the year, Ole Miss rallied to stun Georgia in the Sugar Bowl.

Now, we move on to the semifinals where Miami will clash with Ole Miss in the Fiesta Bowl, while Indiana and Oregon will take part in a rematch from their game earlier this season in the Peach Bowl.
