Por primera vez LaLiga entregó cinco premios en la Gala Globe Soccer de Dubai. Fruto de una alianza estratégica para expandir la marca del campeonato español por Oriente Medio, el Barcelona acaparó cuatro de los cinco trofeos. Joan Laporta tuvo bastante trabajo, ya que subió a recoger tres galardones, el del mejor equipo de la pasada Liga 24/25, el del mejor delantero, que recayó en Rapinha, y el de mejor entrenador de la Liga, que fue para Hansi Flick como no podía ser de otra manera.

“Hicimos un juego ofensivo, muy colorido como demuestran los 102 goles, y en los momentos complicados el equipo supo dar la talla y superamos el bache de noviembre”. Respecto a Flick, se declaró entregado a su entrenador: “Es un hombre apasionado y con una sensibilidad especial con los jugadores, aplica la disciplina con respeto. Hacíamos una presión muy fuerte en la que nos salía muy bien el fuera fuego” y, aunque “ahora nos está costando más, vamos primeros y esperamos que repitan lo de la temporada pasada y un poquitín más”, dijo esperanzado. De Rapinha destacó que “su liderazgo es muy importante, transmite pasión, intensidad, talento y además hace goles. Se nota siempre su ausencia cuando no está porque es un jugador que empuja a los demás a dar siempre lo mejor de sí mismos”. El brasileño no pudo acudir pero mandó un vídeo agradeciendo a LaLiga el premio como mejor jugador del campeonato.

Lamine Yamal recibió el premio al mejor jugador joven de la pasada Liga nada menos que de manos de un ídolo como es Iniesta: “Estoy feliz de que me lo entregue una leyenda como Andrés, al que tanto veía por la tele cuando era pequeño”, reconoció el crack azulgrana, que se definió como “una persona que es alegre y tranquila, y con eso a mí me basta”.

Jan Oblak recogió el premio a la mejor parada del pasado campeonato. El veterano guardameta rojiblanco protagonizó la mejor acción de un portero en la jornada 9, cuando se enfrentaron en el Reale Arena la Real Sociedad y el Atlético de Madrid. En el minuto 12 se lanzó hacia atrás para despejar un cabezazo bombeado de Zubimendi que se colaba por la escuadra, y dos segundos después le hizo otra parada al marroquí Aguerd, que recogió el rechace y disparó a bocajarro. Es llamativo que Oblak recoja este premio cuando en la última jornada de Liga, en el campo del Girona, hizo a Witsel la que algunos han calificado la mejor parada de toda su carrera. Seguro que le vale, al menos, para aspirar a revalidar el galardón que recogió en la Gala Globe Soccer de Dubai.
