Entertainment PSVR2's Highly Anticipated Aces of Thunder Locks in a 3rd February Release Date 1

Aces of Thunder, one of the most anticipated upcoming PSVR2 games, has locked in a 3rd February release date at last.

Although the game can be played without Sony’s virtual reality headset, the dogfighting game from Gaijin Entertainment has been “made specifically with [the] capabilities of the latest generation VR helmets in mind”.

It also supports the T.Flight Hotas 4, so if you picked that up recently for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 – or you’re planning to get it prior to the release of Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve – then it’s just another game to play with the peripheral.

The title features 29 meticulously recreated World War 2-era aircrafts, and here’s a snippet from its summary:

“Aces of Thunder battles will see you fighting across the world and getting a better idea of where the fate of war was decided. Visit 15 beautiful maps representing three key theatres of World War 2: Western, Eastern and Pacific Fronts, as well as signature World War I frontlines.”

In addition to the single player missions, you’ll also find a full online multiplayer mode, so you can pit your dogfighting mastery against pilots from all around the world.

We know a lot of you have been waiting a long time for this one, so hopefully you can hold it together a few more weeks until release.
