White House addresses rumours about Trump's health
Trump is ‘perfectly normal’, White House clears rumours about President’s Health

There had been speculations about Trump’s health from the past few days after he got his MRI recently, but the White House has cleared the air by releasing an official statement.

According to the White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt, the U.S. President Donald Trump’s health is in good condition.

As reported by BBC, the White House physician Captain Sean Barbarella confirmed the news by releasing a memo on Monday, December 1, 2025, that said the heart and abdomen MRI of the 79-year-old U.S. president came out “perfectly normal.”

He stated that “the president underwent an MRI during a physical examination in October 2025 because men of his age group benefit from thorough evaluation of cardiovascular and abdominal health.”

Barbabella further wrote that there was no evidence of arterial narrowing impairing blood flow or abnormalities in Trump’s heart or major vessels, and “Trump’s overall cardiovascular system shows excellent health.”

The White House physician noticed that Trump’s abdominal imaging also showed that “everything evaluated is functioning within normal limits with no acute or chronic concerns.”

Trump underwent his annual physical screening in April and went for an MRI in October at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center as part of his routine yearly checkup.

His physician, Captain Sean Patrick Barbabella, explained that the purpose of the MRI was preventative, “to identify issues early, confirm overall health, and ensure he maintains long-term vitality and function.”

Additionally, the announcement came amid pressure from Democrats, including Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, who have requested the scan outcomes due to concerns about U.S. President Donald Trump’s age, during his second term.

The White House had previously declined to explain why the president had an MRI, but Trump told reporters that it was “OK with me” to release the results of the MRI.
