Nigeria and Sevilla forward Akor Adams has scored two consecutive goals for the Spanish side after finding the back of the net in his side’s 4-1 win over Barcelona, Soccernet.ng reports.
Hansi Flick’s side weren’t at full strength, as they were without two vital players in Lamine Yamal and Raphinha.
Adams moved to Seville during the winter transfer window from Montpellier, and didn’t have the best time settling into life in Spain as he suffered recurring muscle injuries.

He’s found his scoring touch of late, scoring his debut goal for Sevilla in a substitute appearance against Rayo Vallecano before coming off the bench yesterday to add another after combining brilliantly with Chidera Ejuke.

The victory after Barcelona takes the record UEFA Europa League winners into 6th on the La Liga table, and the ex-Montpellier striker lauded the effort of the entire team.
“This gives the team a lot of credit. We were in a bubble, we did what we had worked for, and all of that has paid off,” the 25-year-old said in quotes revealed by One Football.
Adams’ goal against Barcelona was his first in front of the Sevilla fans, and the pacy forward termed the moment he found the back of the net as ‘historic’.
“It’s a historic moment. We have to focus on the positives and leave the rest aside.”
“Absolute madness. I want to recognise Isaac Romero. For me, the first thing I had to do was defend and then go forward. I’m very happy with my first goal at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán,” he concluded.
The former FC Songdal man will be hoping to make his long-awaited debut after getting his maiden call-up to the Super Eagles squad for the October International break.
