Big Brstar, Uriel Oputa, has decried the alarming rate at which her Igbo brothers are marrying women old enough to be their mothers.
She opined that the trend, which has risen in recent times more about men securing foreign passports than about actually being in love with these women.

To start with where are the young marriageable women ?! My sister, you are soooooooo right. When I went to China last year, come see halfcaste children in some markets areas. I said to myself; this is NOT right for us as a people. Chinese don’t care, they are 1.4 billion and in their own country. How many of these kids will leave China for Igboland someday. So far not up to 1%. The most worrying is that these bros don’t think about marrying home now or later.
It’s however not too late to rectify this worrisome trajectory.
