BNB Chain to Support Tokenized US Equities Through Ondo Finance

TLDR:

  • BNB Chain to host 100+ tokenized US equities, ETFs, and funds via Ondo Finance.
  • The move aims to link traditional markets with DeFi through tokenized RWAs.
  • BNB joins Ondo’s Global Markets Alliance to standardize asset tokenization.
  • Users gain on-chain access to real-world stocks for broader portfolio options.

BNB Chain is stepping deeper into traditional finance. Ondo Finance will bring over 100 tokenized US equities, ETFs, and funds to the network.

This marks a key move toward merging crypto with real-world assets. The effort forms part of a broader alliance targeting secure and liquid on-chain markets. It could reshape how users access financial products across blockchain.

BNB Chain will soon host a growing list of tokenized assets, including US-listed stocks and ETFs. Ondo Finance confirmed this rollout will start with more than 100 equities. The aim is to bring real-world market liquidity into the crypto ecosystem.

By doing so, BNB Chain adds to the list of networks supporting real-world asset (RWA) exposure. The decision reflects a broader push to link traditional finance with decentralized protocols.

BNB Chain Joins Ondo’s Global Markets Alliance

This integration is part of a wider collaboration under the Global Markets Alliance.

Ondo Finance has built this group to gather exchanges, custodians, and protocols under a single standard. Members aim to set guidelines for tokenized securities while improving interoperability.

BNB Chain’s involvement adds major strength to the alliance. Its global reach and technical infrastructure make it a practical layer for tokenizing finance at scale. The goal is to simplify how users gain access to regulated financial instruments on-chain.

Ondo’s CEO, Nathan Allman, said expanding tokenized equities to BNB Chain helps bring capital markets into blockchain. He noted that the move matches the firm’s larger mission to build institutional-grade financial rails.

BNB Chain’s Head of Business Development, Sarah S, stated the partnership would enhance global access to RWAs. She highlighted the shift as a step toward bridging on-chain assets with traditional investment opportunities.

Crypto Investors to Get Wall Street Exposure

According to a post by @BNBCHAIN, this move brings Wall Street to crypto.

With over 100 tokenized stocks and funds entering the ecosystem, users may get new tools for portfolio diversification. These assets aim to behave like their real-world counterparts while living entirely on-chain.

By offering traditional market access through blockchain, BNB Chain and Ondo are positioning themselves at the heart of the RWA conversation. The expansion could open doors for everyday users to explore financial markets without leaving Web3.

This rollout marks another chapter in crypto’s ongoing merge with legacy finance.
