A video shows multiple police cars around the Las Vegas Bellagio fountains after the shooting happened. Rumors suggest that the motive for the shooting was a feud between YouTubers.

Shooting Near Las Vegas Bellagio Fountains Leaves Two Dead

Reports indicate that the shooting occurred outside the fountains of the Bellagio Hotel and Casino, one of the busiest spots in Las Vegas. At the time of writing this article, there is a video still circulating online that captured the chaos as shots were fired near the fountains, prompting crowds to duck and flee. Witnesses reported hearing around seven gunshots fired in quick succession.

According to police, officers were conducting a routine patrol when they heard gunshots and immediately moved toward the area where the shots originated. Upon arrival, officers found two individuals with apparent gunshot wounds. Emergency medical personnel responded, but both victims were pronounced dead at the scene. It was later confirmed that the suspect and the victims were acquainted and had a history of conflict stemming from interactions on social media.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) has advised the public to steer clear of the area, as the scene remains active and secured. Several blocks along the Strip were temporarily closed while officers searched for evidence and any potential suspects. Operations at the Fountains have been suspended until further notice.

A department spokesperson, speaking during a midnight briefing, requested the public’s patience as investigators continue to process the scene and gather information, emphasizing that the investigation remains ongoing and fluid. Authorities also stated that a possible suspect has been identified but is still at large.

About the Location Where the Incident Occurred

As mentioned before, the shooting happened at the Bellagio fountains, a famous tourist attraction located on the Las Vegas Strip. Situated in front of the Bellagio hotel, which is located just opposite the iconic Paris Las Vegas hotel and casino, the fountains draw millions of visitors every year.

According to the Bellagio’s official website, the fountain is described as “the most ambitious, complex water feature ever conceived” and is completely free for visitors to enjoy. The fountain presents captivating water displays set to music, occurring every 30 minutes from 3 pm to 7:30 pm and every 15 minutes from 8 pm to midnight on weekdays. On weekends and holidays, shows begin every 30 minutes starting at 12 pm, with increased frequency to every 15 minutes from 8 pm to midnight.
