Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources issued 93 new industrial licenses in March. Investments associated with these new licenses amount to SAR 5.1 billion and anticipated to provide more than 1,260 job opportunities throughout the Kingdom.

Meanwhile, 109 new factories began production in March, with an investment volume of SAR 2.6 billion and 1,766 estimated job opportunities, it added, in a post on “X” platform.

As of March 2025, the number of existing industrial facilities hit 12,067, up more than 8% from 11,143 facilities during the same time previous year and 11,988 facilities in February of last year, the ministry added.
