Bayern Munich target Arsenal winger Gabriel Martinelli

Bayern Munich are interested in signing Gabriel Martinelli from Arsenal in the summer transfer window, according to Christian Falk. The Bild journalist has reported on X that the Bundesliga champions are internally discussing a move for the Brazil international winger.

Martinelli has been on the books of Arsenal since 2019 when he joined from Ituano. The Brazil international winger has been superb for the North London club and is one of the first names on manager Mikel Arteta’s teamsheet when he is fit and available.

The winger made 51 appearances for Arsenal last season, scoring 10 goals and registering six assists. Since his move to the Emirates Stadium in 2019, Martinelli has scored 51 goals and given 29 assists in 225 matches in all competitions for Arsenal, who could not win the Premier League title and reached the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League.
