After 10 years working in joint venture with the council, Equans will now fly solo to deliver hard and soft facilities management for Cheshire West & Chester Council.
Equans had previously been in a joint venture with the council, operating as Qwest, since 2015. The joint venture ceased to deliver services at the end of March 2025, and the new arrangement came into effect in April.
Equans will now continue to deliver hard and soft facilities management services, including cleaning, mailroom and caretaking services across the council’s operational and corporate estate of some 400 properties.
The new term runs until April 2030, with the option of extending for a further two years.
