Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced the opening of its new Hyatt Place Gothenburg Central, a 300-room hotel that brings contemporary comfort to one of Sweden’s famous cities. Located atop the Gothenburg Central Station, this new addition to Hyatt’s portfolio is an ideal choice for both business and leisure travelers.

prime location

Situated in the heart of Gothenburg, Hyatt Place Gothenburg Central provides guests with easy access to a wide range of attractions and cultural landmarks. The hotel is within walking distance of popular destinations such as Liseberg Amusement Park, the scenic Gothenburg Archipelago, and Ullevi Stadium, one of Scandinavia’s most famous sports venues. Guests can also explore the city’s restaurant scene, canals and parks, all within close reach.

Design with a touch of nature

The hotel, built on top of Gothenburg’s Central Station, has recently undergone a year-long refurbishment to align with the Hyatt Place brand’s aesthetic. The interiors reflect the city’s natural beauty, with design elements inspired by Gothenburg’s green spaces and coastal landscapes.

As Gothenburg continues to emerge as a hub for both business and leisure travel, we are excited to add to this momentum by welcoming Hyatt Place Gothenburg Central to the city. With a prime location, modern designed spaces and thoughtfully sourced dining options, we look forward to introducing guests to all that the hotel has to offer.” – Michel Morauw, Managing Director North EAME
