More OB-GYN, Telehealth, and Primary Care Services Thanks to Intermountain Manti Clinic Expansion

The Intermountain Health Manti Clinic is also offering expanded services thanks to new clinic space.

Intermountain Health is excited to share the Manti Clinic expansion is complete and new services and providers are now available to area residents.

The Sanpete Chamber of Commerce helped with a ribbon cutting for the expanded clinic last week.

The Manti Clinic first opened in 1987 and has provided integrated family, pediatric, and senior medicine. A certified nurse midwife has joined the clinic and a full time OB-GYN, Brian May, MD will join this summer.

“Certified nurse midwife Elaine Thompson is now here every Monday to see patients, and Dr. May will start this summer,” said Tressa Hansen, practice manager at the clinic.

Dr. May will join Zack Cowan, MD, Clark Graham, PA, and Michael Frischknecht, MD.  The Manti Clinic is also offering expanded telehealth consulting services with access to Intermountain experts from around the state, including gastroenterology and behavioral health/psychiatry in clinic.

“We are just thankful to serve the community and support clinic growth,” said Michael Frischknecht, MD, Intermountain family medicine physician,

“I am excited to be coming here, and be integrated into the community,” said Dr. May.
