This Ramadan, inDrive Pledges to Build Playgrounds for Underprivileged Children Across Pakistan

In the spirit of Ramadan, a month of giving and transformation, inDrive is taking a bold step toward creating a lasting impact on the lives of underprivileged children. The global mobility and urban services platform has announced a major initiative, Ride to Donate Pakistan, under which inDrive is funding the construction of modern sports facilities in schools across Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad/Rawalpindi. By investing directly into these communities, inDrive is ensuring that children have access to safe, vibrant spaces where they can play, grow, and dream.

As part of the first phase of this initiative, inDrive is building playgrounds at Syed Asghar Ashfaq Girls & Boys Primary School, Saran Educational Trust, and GBSS Kara Bhai Kareem Jee School in Karachi. These facilities will provide thousands of children with a dedicated space for sports and physical activity—fostering teamwork, discipline, and confidence.

Ramadan, a time of reflection and generosity, serves as the perfect backdrop for this initiative. inDrive’s investment underscores its commitment to social responsibility and its belief that mobility is about more than just transportation—it’s about uplifting communities. To mark this milestone, inDrive will officially inaugurate its first newly built sports facility in Karachi in the first week of April 2025, signalling the beginning of a larger mission to enhance educational environments across the country.

Hassan Zaman, Marketing Manager inDrive said, “Ramadan is a time to give back, to create meaningful change, and to support those in need,” said in a statement issued by the company. The statement further stated that “With Ride to Donate Pakistan, we are going beyond mobility to build a better future—one where every child has the opportunity to play, thrive, and reach their full potential.”

This initiative is part of inDrive’s broader vision to integrate social impact into its operations. With a presence in over 888 cities in 48 countries, the company continues to pioneer efforts that extend beyond transportation, reinforcing its role as a force for positive change.
