limehome, has reached a milestone with over 10,000 contracted units across Europe. This achievement follows the addition of 1,000 new units in the first quarter of 2025. The Munich-based company continues to expand in key European markets through strategic investments and new development projects.

Continued growth with new projects in key European cities

limehome’s growth is driven by its scalable business model and its successful approach to property conversions and new developments. The company has secured several new projects in major cities, particularly in Spain and Germany. The recent investments in Barcelona, Madrid, Cologne, and Stuttgart reinforce limehome’s commitment to expanding in these strategic locations.

“10,000 apartments in just six years are a major achievement that underlines the added value of our innovative concept for our guests and real estate partners. We are particularly proud that this growth is based on the foundation of a sustainably profitable business,” “From an investment perspective, serviced apartments offer greater flexibility and more stable returns long-term compared to traditional hotel properties. In a competitive market, our predefined standards and streamlined processes enable us to acquire and implement projects with investors in record time.” – Dr. Josef Vollmayr, Co-CEO of limehome.

Recent project signings in major cities

limehome has secured four significant projects in key European cities. Two projects in Spain—one in Barcelona and one in Madrid—will add a combined 260 serviced apartments to its portfolio. The Barcelona property will have 153 units, and the Madrid property will offer 107 units, continuing limehome’s growth in Southern Europe.

In Germany, limehome has signed agreements for two new projects in Cologne and Stuttgart. The Cologne project, in collaboration with GARBE Commercial Living, involves the conversion of an office building into 90 serviced apartments, set for completion by the end of 2027. The Stuttgart project, located in Stuttgart West, will add 109 serviced apartments, marking the fourth collaboration between limehome and the WATZL Group.

“The follow-up investments in new developments are an absolute vote of confidence for us,” “Together with our partners, we want to continue to enable comfortable and fully digitalized stays for our guests in the future. The demand motivates us, and we will continue to expand our presence in Europe’s major cities and most popular destinations.” – Daniel Hermann, Chief Growth Officer of limehome.

Ongoing development and future plans

limehome’s development pipeline remains strong, with several projects planned for completion throughout 2025 and beyond. The company continues to focus on expanding its portfolio in key European cities while maintaining a commitment to high-quality standards.
