WhatsApp Business Introduces New Icon in Latest Update

WhatsApp Business has rolled out a new icon in its most recent update, marking a subtle yet noticeable change to the app’s visual identity. The new branding features a plus sign alongside the well-known green color scheme, replacing the “B” that was previously in the center of the logo.

This updated icon, which is now visible across various sections of the app including the home screen, splash screen, and notifications, symbolizes the app’s growth and its role in helping businesses expand their reach. The addition of the plus sign aims to reflect the increasing number of businesses that rely on WhatsApp Business to connect with customers across the globe.

Though the design has been refreshed, the overall shape of the logo remains consistent with the original, ensuring it is still instantly recognizable to users. The change appears to emphasize WhatsApp’s expanding global presence and its commitment to supporting businesses worldwide, while maintaining a clean and simple design.

Importantly, the update does not affect the core features of WhatsApp Business. Users will continue to have access to the same tools that help them engage with customers and improve their productivity, making it easy for businesses to streamline communication without any disruptions.

At the moment, this updated branding is exclusive to WhatsApp Business on Android. The new icon can be found after installing the latest WhatsApp Business beta update, version 2.25.7.6, from the Google Play Store. The icon update may be rolled out to iOS users in the near future.

This redesign marks a new chapter for WhatsApp Business, reinforcing its place as a vital tool for businesses looking to stay connected in a rapidly growing digital world.
