What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

At first I didn’t want to play football, I wanted to only play baseball. Since my brother played I was always at practice and the 7 and 8 year old team needed a quarterback so I decided to play. The crazy thing about that is I won MVP for the team and fell in love with the game.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

Winning a National Championship is by far one of the best moments of my football life. Being an All American and tying for first in kickoff return touchdowns in the country is also up there. But nothing beats getting my first college touchdown on my first catch against a rival team.

What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?

As a football player I’m looking to go pro but more importantly I want to leave a legacy. Not just a legacy based on stats, achievements, and accolades, but a legacy as a role model for the small time football players that didn’t go D1 or D2 right out of high school like I did.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day, who and why?

I would love to hang out with “Weapon X” Brian Dawkins which might sound weird coming from a receiver but his game and attitude was unmatched. I feel like it would be a great mix of football talk, life lessons, and good vibes.

Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?

My mom inspires me the most because I know being a single mother is hard but being a single mother with two boys that play every sport is even harder. So her strength gives me strength.

What is your favorite offensive scheme and why?

My favorite offensive scheme is the vertical zone scheme because it focuses on creating big plays and stretching the defense vertically. As a wide receiver, I love the opportunities it creates to attack deep down the field, using my speed to get behind defenders and make explosive plays. The zone running aspect also helps create space for the passing game, as the defense has to respect both the run and the deep passing threats.

What should we know about Logan Collier the person?

I want you to know that I’m not just a football player, I’m someone who values integrity, hard work, and making a positive impact both on and off the field. I take pride in being a leader and a great teammate. I’m passionate about constantly growing as a person, whether it’s learning from others or pushing myself to be better in all aspects of my life. Football is just one part of who I am, and I strive to be someone who motivates everyone around me and always looks for ways to improve, both as an individual and as a part of a team.

What stands out about your film the most?

My speed would be the first thing that stands out. Being able to create separation on routes and hitting a hole during return definitely shows that.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

I pray to my gracious and loving God to help me gain the tools and knowledge needed to overcome any adversity thrown my way.

What would a team get in a player like you?

A team would get a field flipping return man that’s a vertical threat to any defense. A player that is dangerous with the ball in my hands and can turn a small gain into a big play.

What do you love the most about the game of football?

What I love most about football is the strong bonds it creates with teammates. You go through so much together and those shared experiences turn into lifelong friendships. Football also teaches me valuable life lessons like resilience, discipline, and accountability, pushing me to grow as a person both on and off the field. The lessons learned and the connections made in football shape who I am and stay with me for life.

Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?

My brother, Austin, is the most underrated player I’ve played with. He went to college as running back and now plays in the IFL as a defensive end. He was able to make plays at Chattanooga as a walk-on and earn a scholarship while splitting reps with a SoCon defensive player of the year.
