NFL Mock Draft 2025: Eagles 7-round simulation, Version 5.0

Football

Welcome to this year’s Mock Simulation Series! Each week, I will run a simulation of the 2025 NFL draft using the Pro Football Focus Draft Simulator.

Round 1, Pick 32 (for the Super Bowl Winner): Derrick Harmon, Defensive Lineman, Oregon

The Eagles get a slam dunk pick at the end of the first round here. With Milton Williams well paid in New England, the Eagles grab a disruptive defensive lineman to take his place.

Harmon has the size and athleticism to play all three-downs, giving the Eagles an excellent interior rotation with him, Jalen Carter, Jordan Davis, and Moro Ojomo.

Round 2, Pick 64: Kyle Kennard, Edge Defender, South Carolina

The Eagles address their edge rusher depth with an athletic pass rush specialist. Kennard would be a perfect replacement for Josh Sweat and give the Eagles even more speed in their front seven.

Round 3, Pick 96: Isaiah Bond, Wide Receiver, Texas

I love Isaiah Bond as a third wide receiver in this offense. He has great speed and route running ability. Size concerns are valid, but he will not be having to deal with much attention due to DeVonta Smith and AJ Brown drawing coverage.

Round 4, Pick 134: Luke Kandra, Offensive Lineman, Cincinnati

An undersized but athletic offensive lineman from Cincinnati? Where have I heard that before?

But seriously, Kandra is a talented player who could compete for snaps at guard or eventually play tackle given his athletic profile.

Round 5, Pick 161: Denzel Burke, Cornerback, Ohio State

It’s possible Philly grabs a cornerback a lot sooner depending on how comfortable they are with Kelee Ringo. If they wait, depth players will still be needed. Burke is a talented player who never got consistently good tape out there during his time in Columbus. Let Vic Fangio get his hands on the athletic cornerback.

Round 5, Pick 164: Caden Prieskorn, Tight End, Ole Miss

Tight end is another position the Eagles could grab a lot earlier. Caden Prieskorn has everything you’d want from the position in terms of size and athleticism. He is just very raw.

Round 5, Pick 165: Upton Stout, Defensive Back, Western Kentucky

I am not sure what Upton Stout is in the NFL. The college safety might do his best work as a dime back in the big leagues. He is small, but extremely feisty and athletic. He was a phenomenal run defender at WKU, despite his size. The Eagles defense has a handful of really physical, gritty defenders who physically and mentally challenge their opponents. From a demeanor standpoint, Stout is a great fit.

Round 5 Pick, Pick 168: Kyle McCord, Quarterback, Syracuse

Bring him home!
