Light Novel ‘Tensei shita Daiseijo wa, Seijo de Aru Koto wo Hitakakusu’ Gets TV Anime

Publishing company Earth Star Entertainment announced a television anime adaptation of Touya‘s Tensei shita Daiseijo wa, Seijo de Aru Koto wo Hitakakusu (A Tale of the Secret Saint) light novel Thursday. Production company Hakuhodo DY Music & Pictures simultaneously opened an official website, revealing the main cast and a teaser visual (pictured).

Touya began penning the adventure fantasy series on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in January 2019. Earth Star Entertainment began publishing the novel in June 2019, featuring illustrations by chibi (Unnamed Memory). The tenth volume went on sale in June 2024, with the 11th volume set to be released on March 14. The light novel has a cumulative 3.4 million copies of its volumes in print.

Comic Earth☆Star began serializing a manga adaptation by Mahito Aobe in December 2019. The 11th volume shipped in October 2024, with the 12th volume going on sale on March 12.

Touya and chibi began the Tensei shita Daiseijo wa, Seijo de Aru Koto wo Hitakakusu Zero spin-off prequel light novel under the Earth Star Novel imprint in July 2022. The fifth volume was published in December 2024.

Shiina began serializing a manga adaptation of the spin-off on the Comic Earth☆Star web magazine in October 2023. Earth Star Entertainment published the second volume in September 2024, with the third volume set for a March 12 release.

Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the original light novel and manga adaptation in English in September 2020, and the spin-off light novel in May 2024. The seven novel volume and eighth manga volume shipped on December 17 last year and February 4, respectively. The first spin-off volume was released on December 31.

Synopsis
Born into a long line of knights, Fia is determined to become a knight herself, just like all her siblings. But a brush with death awakens memories of her past life as a Saint—a woman who wields rare, powerful healing and protection magic—along with the ability to use that magic herself! The downside is that Fia also remembers her past life’s untimely death, and the danger she will be in if anyone finds out what she really is.
