H&M Studio’s SS25 collection puts fierce suiting and poolside outfits in the spotlight.

WEBWIRE

For the woman who knows how to work hard and play hard, H&M Studios SS25 collection is all about a tailoring and leisurewear crossover. Pieces that effortlessly merge the look of city pavements and poolside parties with strong shoulders, a focus on the waistline and sporty details. Drawing from fierce 1980s corporate women and the vibrant style of Miami and Los Angeles, the collections message is one of versatility and empowerment. H&M Studio SS25 will be available in selected stores and at hm.com on 6March.

For SS25, we looked to the power woman and imagined her whole day not just corporate life because her strength and sense of style goes beyond the 9-to-5. She needs it all: tailoring, statement dresses, shirting, easy separates and denim. But in a way that brings together gravitas and glamour, says Linda Wikell, designer H&M Studio

Sharp coats that call to mind a bathrobe, a business shirt and sexy bodysuit in one, and swimsuits that double as a going out top. Throughout the collection, leather, cotton-blend boucle, a knitted Ottoman ribbed fabric and a special boucle-style denim lend structure and texture, while a colour palette of corporate grey, greige, black, white, scarlet red and water blue signal a daring attitude.

The key pieces reinforce the female silhouette while flirting with the executive lifestyle. The long black belted coat is crafted from a thin boucle fabric and has prominent shoulders. The shirt-bodysuit is a classic blue with contrast white collar and cuffs, while a grey draped mini-dress has a shawl detail. Theres also a coordinating shirt and suit set in a distorted underwater print and a grey cropped funnel-neck nylon jacket. Accessories include an oversized, water-repellent waterproof clutch, metal frame sunglasses and shoes with angular shapes.
