Donald Trump vows not to deport Prince Harry from the US, The Reason Will Shock You

Prince Harry, also known as the Duke of Sussex, has been living in the United States since 2020 after stepping down from his royal duties in the UK.

In 2022, former U.S. President Donald Trump gave an interview with GB News, where he strongly criticized Meghan Markle, Harry’s wife.

Recently, Trump made it clear that he has no intention of deporting Prince Harry, even though there is an ongoing legal case about Harry’s immigration records.

A conservative group called The Heritage Foundation is currently challenging the U.S. Department of Homeland Security in court. They are trying to get information about Harry’s visa, questioning whether he was given special treatment when he moved to the U.S.

The controversy started because Harry admitted in his book *Spare* that he had used illegal drugs, including cocaine, cannabis, and psychedelic mushrooms, when he was younger. Normally, U.S. immigration laws are very strict about drug use, and people with a history of drug-related offenses can be denied a visa. However, waivers can sometimes be granted.

When asked if he would deport Prince Harry, Trump firmly said, “I don’t want to do that, I’ll leave him alone.”

At the same time, Trump did not hold back on criticizing Meghan Markle. He said, “Harry already has enough problems with his wife. She’s terrible.” Trump has previously spoken about Meghan in a negative way, suggesting that she has been a bad influence on Harry and has caused trouble in the royal family.

The Heritage Foundation believes that the Biden administration may have bent the rules to allow Harry to stay in the U.S. without properly checking his background, especially after “Megxit,” when Harry and Meghan officially left their royal roles.

On the other hand, Trump has spoken highly of Harry’s older brother, Prince William. He once described him as “a great young man” and has shown admiration for him. The two even met privately in December 2024 during the reopening of Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris.

While the legal battle over Harry’s visa continues, there has also been royal news regarding Trump himself.

Just last month, King Charles sent a personal message to Trump, congratulating him on becoming U.S. President again after winning his second election. In the letter, the King spoke about the strong and long-lasting friendship between the United Kingdom and the United States.

Trump has always had a deep respect for the British royal family. He has previously said that he had “automatic chemistry” with the late Queen Elizabeth II and has called King Charles “a really wonderful guy.”

The royal family continues to play an important role in strengthening ties between the UK and the U.S., and Trump has made it clear that he values the relationship between the two nations.

For now, Prince Harry’s future in the U.S. remains uncertain as the legal case over his visa records continues. However, with Trump saying he won’t take action against him, it seems Harry is safe from deportation—at least for now.
