Concrete contractor LGW Group has acquired supplier Multi-Crete Concrete & Concrete Pumping.
The deal, announced last week, sees the Bristol company take control of the Gloucestershire firm from former owners Simon Robinson and Jason Bowen.
LGW works across the south of England and Wales. Its brands include Wright Minimix, Bristol Brick Company, Prodeck-Fixing and Mexboro.
The group had turnover of £40.8m in the 12 months to 31 December 2023 and made a pre-tax profit of £1.4m.
Multi-Crete’s website says it works in Newport, Gloucester, Bristol, Swindon and the surrounding areas.

Law firm Freeths advised LGW on the deal, while Hopson Solicitors acted for Multi-Crete’s shareholders.

The UK’s top 10 concrete contractors by revenue saw their total turnover increase by 7 per cent to almost £2bn in their latest accounts compared with their previous year’s filings.
A merger and acquisitions expert said in December that high levels of the activity were expected to continue throughout 2025 in the specialist industrial, infrastructure and technical services markets.
“The industry continues to face rapidly increasing demand for specialist services with a shortage of skilled labour to deliver it,” added Clearwater director Zack Goddard.
