Ghana has always been a talent hub for music and 2024 has been no different as a new sensation has emerged on the scene. Blessed with a silky voice and impeccable songwriting, RCEE (Austin Antwi Boakye) has steadily risen since releasing his debut EP How Did We Get Here in September. The EP has so far birthed two breakout songs in Amazing and Knees & Bend.
As an artist, one of the biggest periods you can utilize is Ghana’s Detty December and RCEE didn’t fail to disappoint. As part of his Detty December bookings, he performed at the Alley Bar in an intimate session and also mounted stages such as the Global Football Festival and Promiseland.
On the Promiseland stage, thousands were watching, and he shined as one of the bright lights of the event. He also took center stage at Obi’s house at their Ghana stop as part of AfroFuture.
Currently on Amin Music, 2025 has been marked as the year of RCEE as he is set to lay a much bigger footprint than in 2024. In a comment, he thanked fans for all the support he has received so far and plans to go harder for the fans in the new year with some exciting projects on the horizon.
