The facilities management (FM) arms of tier one contractors Galliford Try, Kier, Morgan Sindall, Vinci and Wates are among 27 firms with places on a new Pagabo framework.

The Total Facilities Management Framework will run until January 2029 with a total estimated value of £814m, Pagabo announced yesterday (15 January).

Hull-based Pagabo is managing the framework on behalf of Red Kite Learning Trust, which is a multi-academy trust comprising 14 schools in North and West Yorkshire.

The framework will allow local authorities and other public sector organisations in all UK regions to procure facilities management (FM) services across a range of sectors such as education, leisure and healthcare.

Services to be provided include roofing, mechanical and electrical systems management and “soft” FM such as decorating, catering, pest control and security, Pagabo said in a statement.

The framework is split into six lots, each for jobs worth more than £1m.

Galliford Try Facilities Management scooped a place on four lots. Kier Facilities Services, Morgan Sindall Property Services and Vinci Facilities each have positions on two lots, while Wates Property Services is on one.

Eleven of the 27 firms on the framework are SMEs. Half of the lots include “specific reserved spaces for SMEs in support of Pagabo’s aims to consistently make its frameworks available to all levels within the industry”, the framework provider said.

Jonathan Oram, Pagabo’s director of frameworks, said: “Over the tender period, we have seen significant interest in the framework and we’re eager to see the well-rounded offerings by the appointed suppliers at work.

“This all goes to highlight the demand we’ve seen for a specific facilities management framework.”
